DAY 1 : ARRIVE IN CASABLANCA:
Your driver/guide will meet you at the Casablanca airport and escort you to your hotel. Dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2 : CASABLANCA – RABAT:
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have a short city tour of Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco, including a visit to the third largest mosque in the world, Hassan II mosque, built on water alongside the Atlantic Ocean. Then we will depart to Rabat, stopping for lunch, and then see the historical sits of Rabat, the capital of Morocco. You will visit the Royal Palace, The Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower, the minaret of incomplete mosque initiated by The Almohad ruler Yaacoub al-Mansour. If there is time, you will also visit The Kasbah des Oudaias, white houses with blue painted parapets located near to the Atlantic coast. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 3 : RABAT – MEKNES – FEZ:
After breakfast at the hotel, you will travel to Meknes then to the nearby city Fes. Meknes is the third Imperial city of Morocco and known as the “Versaille of Morocco” with its famous door. You will explore Bab El Mansour, one of the most beautiful gateways, and continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. You will have time for lunch then visit the Old and new Medina. Later on, you will visit the village of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, one of the most sacred sites which is a place of pilgrimage for Moroccans. Afterward you will discover the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. We will then travel to Fes and you will enjoy your evening with traditional a Moroccan dinner and spend the night in the riad.
DAY 4 : EXPLORING FEZ:
After breakfast, a knowledgable guide will meet you at your riad in the morning for an incredible cultural and historical tour of Fes. You will visit the medina (the old city) and it’s labyrinth of alleys, the Jewish Quarter, and the Royal Palace gate in the morning before enjoying lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the famous tanneries and the Quaraouine mosque — the first university in the world — before driving to the top of the city for a wonderful panoramic view of the city. If you wish, we will also visit the pottery cooperative. You will have free time in the evening, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight in the same riad.
DAY 5 : FEZ – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – RISSANI – MERZOUGA:
Your guide will pick up from your hotel in Fes in the morning after breakfast and depart for the south of Morocco. You will stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, to enjoy its beauty and take photos. After that you will head toward Azrou to see the playful monkeys in the cedar forest. We will continue to Midelt and stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we will cross the pass of Tizi n Tighamt to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz Gorge. We will stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley, will pass through Erfoud (the Moroccan capital city of fossils), and then arrive in Merzouga for dinner and our stay.
DAY 6: TOUR AROUND ERG CHEBBI DESERT & CAMEL TREKKING:
In the morning after breakfast, we start our tour around the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will visit a berber house and listen to some Gnawa music originally from Ghana and Sudan. We will visit some deserted mines, Berber nomads, and oasis of palm trees. For lunch, we will head back to Merzouga. During certain seasons, we may also visit Lake Merzouga to see the flamingos.
Before we leave for the desert, the camels will be packed with water, food, blankets, and everything else which we will need for the trip. Each person will have their own camel and the ride will take 1.5 hours to reach the inside the dunes.
You will arrive to your own private tent, and then you can walk in the dunes to watch the beautiful sunset and try sand boarding on the sand dunes. After seeing the sun set, you will go down back to the camp to enjoy mint tea (what we call Moroccan Berber Whiskey!). Then you will have your meal of delicious Moroccan Berber tagine in the camp. After dinner, the party will start. Local Berber nomad musicians will play traditional music with drums and dancing. Afterwards, you will watch the magical sky full of stars and enjoy the peaceful desert. Dinner and overnight in nomad camp.

DAY 7: MERZOUGA – TODRA GORGE – BOUMALNE DADES – KELAÂ M’GOUNA – OUARZAZATE:
Awake in the morning to the gentle calling of your guide to see the sun rise over the dunes of the Sahara. We will ride camels back from Desert Camp to Merzouga for breakfast and showers. Leaving for Todra Gorge, we will drive off-road drive across the hamada (black Desert) to get to the Sahara town of Rissani to visit the animated local market. Afterwards, we head north to Erfoud, known for its fossils, and can stop to visit a fossil workshop before we continue to the impressive Todra canyons. Rock climbing (additional reservations may be required) and hiking are available in the canyons before heading to the hotel for dinner and our overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
DAY 8: OUARZAZATE – AÏT BEN HADDOU – TELOUET – TIZI N’TICHKA – MARRAKECH:
After breakfast in the hotel, we begin our journey along the road of Thousand Kasbahs, viewing the enormous kasbahs on both sides of the road. We pass through Dades Valley and go up to the mountainous area through an off-road trail where there are many Berber villages and nomads living in caves. You’ll enjoy the impressive landscapes of the Valley of the Roses and we will visit Taourirt Kasbah before departing to Ait Benhaddou. We will visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, famous for films such as The Man Who Would Be King, Jewel of the Nile, Jesus of Nazareth, The Message, Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, and Gladiator. We will continue with a visit to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. We will have lunch in a local restaurant in Telouet before descending the Tizi-n-Tichka to Marrakech. You will arrive to Marrakech in the evening for dinner and the overnight in a riad.
DAY 9: EXPLORING MARRAKECH:
The next day you will enjoy a tour of Marrakech with a private guide. Our first half of the tour will include a visit to the famous Palais de Bahia, a beautifully decorated palace full of enchanting inner rooms and elaborate mosaic walls. Then we will walk through the Jewish Quarter, with distinctly different architecture from the rest of the medina, and also discover the incredible Saadian tombs. We’ll visit Medersa Ben Youssef, an old school of Quranic study with beautiful Arabian-Andalucían architecture, and see the Koutoubia Mosque, an icon of Marrakech and a point of orientation for tourists. Lastly, we’ll head to the world-famous Jemaah el Fna square with its countless orange juice stands, snake charmers, traditionally-garbed water sellers and henna women. Enjoy a refreshing midday pause on one of the terraces with a panoramic view and take in the sights of the colorful crowds below.
We will then continue on to the incredible Majorelle Gardens and you will make your way through the oasis of calm in the midst of the bustling city at your leisure. Visit the Berber Museum housed in the bright blue villa and learn about the history and traditions of Berber people and see some of their beautiful traditional clothing.
You will have free time in the evening and stay overnight in the same riad.
DAY 10: MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA:
After breakfast, we will leave Marrakech for Essaouira, the old Portuguese city. On the way, you may visit the Argan oil women’s cooperative and learn about the process of making Argan oil. Arriving in Essaouira in the early-afternoon, you will explore the port of this beautiful coastal town. For lunch, you can enjoy fresh seafood in the medina. The afternoon is at your leisure for personal exploration –you can swim and relax on the beach or wander the medina. Dinner will be served at your riad.
DAY 11: ESSAOUIRA – SAFI – OUALIDIA – EL JADIDA – CASABLANCA:
Today we will leave Essaouira for Casablanca via the costal road while admiring the views. We will pass by Safi then to Oualida, where you will enjoy delicious seafood. After lunch, we will continue to Casablanca passing by El Jadida (formerly known as Mazagan); this old medina was established in 1513 by the Portuguese. You will arrive to Casablanca early evening and enjoy your dinner and overnight in a hotel.
DAY 12: CASABLANCA – AIRPORT MED V :
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to the Airport depending your flight departure time. Thank you for choosing All Morocco Tours!
